Week-by-Week Recovery Calendar
Procedure (40–60 Minutes)
Local anaesthesia injected at penile base. Light IV sedation available on request. CO₂ laser excision and haemostasis. Absorbable sutures placed — no suture removal required. Sterile dressing applied. Same-day discharge. English wound care sheet provided.
Immediate Post-Op
Swelling and bruising normal — peaks day 2–3. Dressing changed daily: clean with antiseptic wash provided, re-apply gauze. Mild-moderate pain managed with OTC ibuprofen. Avoid erections where possible (sleep on side; cold compress helps).
Wound Stabilisation
Swelling subsides significantly. Sutures begin dissolving day 5–7. Shower permitted without covering from day 4 — let water run over wound, pat dry only. No soaking (no baths, pools, ocean) until week 3. Office work and light activity permitted.
Healing Consolidation
Sutures fully dissolved by end of week 2 for most patients. Occasional itching around the wound line is normal and signals healing. Light gym activity (no contact sports). Photo assessment by WhatsApp if concerned about wound appearance.
Sexual Activity Clearance
